10 years of Girogustando: let's start!



First 12 appointments with Girogustando 2011: starting February 10, last night March 24. And then the autumn session, in October and November.
This year we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the event through which "cooks in Italy, - and more - meet at Siena." As usual, two chefs will be the protagonists of the evening, the dishes that will elevate their territories for this year immersed in art and music. Thus, once again the event created by "Confesercenti Siena" Siena chefs to meet with colleagues from other Italian regions, presenting to the public menu "four hands" according to the original formula that is repeated since 2002. The first candle will be extinguished at the restaurant La Buca di San Pietro, in the heart of Siena, where a guest arrives February 10 from the archipelago of Tuscany. In 2011 the program stand out and not only Italian guests. The menu will slide out so many dishes of Tuscany: Livorno Restaurants with cacciucco and pine forest, while the angle of the restaurant will Acquaviva di Montepulciano La Buca di Pisa and the products of the Garfagnana, and the background of medieval Grotta del Gallo Nero di Siena The ship will host Castiglion Fiorentino. Other guests are coming from Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Veneto and Puglia. But this year there will be exceptions abroad: in February, the restaurant La Mandragora San Gimignano host the Aires del Plata, a typical Argentinean restaurant in Bologna, whose passage in the Siena will be accompanied by music and dancing tangueros. In March, however, La Porta del Chianti will have the space to Austria Stadtagasthaus Eisvoges directly from the Prater in Vienna. Meetings and wine and lots of fun. Between courses in creative entertainment room will be back at the performances of music, mime and more to involve the audience, along with Sommelier AIS for matching food and wine and the "Giro-quiz." One or two evenings a week, as usual, on Wednesday and Thursday, also will still be able to choose between two pricing options (35 or 40 euro). In the dining room each evening will be exposed to works by 12 different artists the opportunity to realize that even the gift to be given to chefs in memory of the experience you just shared. All this thanks to the Chamber of Commerce of Siena, the patronage of the Province and the Municipality of Siena, and the set of synergies and partnerships, with each passing year, allowing the public to live Girogustando new cultural experiences, as well as food .
