A showcase in combination with a two-day cultural and gastronomic events, with the participation of around one hundred exhibitors from Chianti and Siena area. The festival, founded in 2008, will be held in the gardens of Piazza della Repubblica di San Casciano and along the Via Garibaldi, which will host the fair Saturday May 21 and Sunday, May 22 (in Monteriggioni the same initiative will come to life on June 4).
Inspired by the national celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the fair will wear the colors of the Italian flag, exposing it to every booth to show some of the best handicrafts, shopping and dining with the territory. The areas covered range from furniture for the home (household goods, ceramics, silver, bathroom furniture, decorations, furniture and garden furniture, embroidery, home appliances, wood inlays) clothing and accessories for women, from wedding gowns to cars, from antiques to works of art and intellect, from trips holidays to horse riding ant to floriculture.
Widely represented also the natural-environmental sector (renewable energy, plants and flowers, horse riding, farm houses, olive oil plant) and food and wine (DOCG wines, cakes, ice cream, fruit and vegetables, meats, spices, coffee, chocolate, saffron).
There will be presentations and recreational forms of entertainment for kids with pony rides, sky observation through a planetarium and other games and activities set up in the middle of Piazzone square. For older the event dedicate a sector to the professional experts in the wine industry where you can taste wines DOCG, DOC, IGT. Will be present with their products, thirty companies from Chianti and Siena.
The event opens its doors Saturday, 21 to 10 will end on Sunday 22 at 20.
