Wine road through the Chianti hills


Four routes between picturesque scenery, villas, vineyards and history

There are many roads through the hills of Florence and the territories of the municipalities that fall Bagno a Ripoli, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Certaldo Fiesole, Figline Valdarno, Florence, Impruneta, Incisa, Lastra a Signa, Montelupo Fiorentino Montespertoli Pelago, Pontefract, Reggello Rignano, San Casciano Valdipesa, Scandicci, Tavarnelle Valdipesa. By four main routes branch off many routes where children often discover the most precious and genuine Florentine hills.

First Itinerary
From Florence, Scandicci after the provincial road 98 crosses the wooded hill of Roveta to San Vincenzo a Torri. It then proceeds with the provincial road 12 towards Broom. After "La Luna" you get in Lastra a Signa. Take State Road 67 along the Arno River in Montelupo Fiorentino, where the road leads to Malmantile 73. Vineyards, hills, crafts of various kinds and in particular of terracotta are the main attractions of this area.

Second Itinerary
From the main road leading to 4 Montagnana, where you take Via Romita meeting of San Quirico in Collina, San Pancrazio, Romita. There are 2 up onto the main road in Tavarnelle and Barberino. The tour continues on road 49 towards Marcialla where the road leads to Montespertoli 79 before falling to Baccaiano. This road in particular, allows us to appreciate the sweetness of the Florentine hills rich in vineyards, olive groves, cypress trees, villas and castles.

Third Itinerary
Starting from Florence to Galluzzo and, after the Certosa, Tavarnuzze go up the road 69 to Impruneta, then back down the road to S. 70 Gersolè, or, alternatively, starting from Florence, we head to San Felice a Ema, go up the road 70 to S. Gersolè, rejoining the first path. For municipal roads you go down to Ponte a Ema Grassina and then in Bagno a Ripoli. Proceed to San Donato in Collina, where you take the SP it diverts up to 89 Bombone on Sp 90 to Rosano returning to Florence. Crossing the Arno, the main road leading to Sieci 67, where he turns to climb up to the Plan Molin Vetta le Croci. He returned to Florence through the historic center of Fiesole. A street full of charm, vineyards, olive groves crafts, history and monuments and handicrafts.

Fourth Itinerary
Starting from Rignano Arno, through San Clemente Sant'Ellero is reached, from where you climb in Donnini, San Donato and eventually Reggello. From here we head to Figline Valdarno where you follow the SP 16 toward Bridge to Stoll. Follow the S.S. 69 up to Incisa, where the Sp 1 shows in San Donato in Collina, rejoining all'iitinerario 3. A road that allows you to savor the beauty of the valley on both banks of the Arno, rich, inter alia, agricultural products and local handicrafts.
