La Rocca di Staggia ospita nel mese di Ottobre 2011 l’esposizione “DALLA SPADA ALLA ROSA” che prevede visite guidate. In questo contesto si colloca lo spettacolo itinerante: “DALLA SPADA ALLA ROSA/DAL DUELLO ALLA DANZA” che vede protagoniste le Dame e i Cavalieri di Santa Fina (San Gimignano).

Sabato 1 Ottobre a partire dalle ore 17.00: un evento adatto sia per il pubblico adulto che per i bambini. Vi attendono l'accampamento militare, gli arceri, le sfide sulle mura, i canti e le danze, i tamburi e tanto altro ancora…

Nella stanza delle bifore, accarezzati dalle gocce della Fontana di Luce, luogo di incontro tra la torre, il mastio della Rocca e la donna, le dame cantano e danzano, evocando atmosfere medievali, creando figure e passi che ritornano  nel duello di spade dei cavalieri. Svelando che ogni danza contiene il significato della vita, decantazione simbolica nel suo movimento dell’amore e della guerra.

Siena Plein Air

Terre di Siena Plein Air will open Thursday, September 29th with a double tour through the Chianti, the paths of L'Eroica: cycling in the morning and an afternoon walk.On the morning of Friday, September 30th the event will be repeated on two wheels in the area of ​​Montalcino and the Crete Senesi. Saturday, October 1 is scheduled Eroica "... for those of the first time," guided by bicycle, with departure and return in Gaiole in Chianti, open to everyone but especially to those who participate for the very first time. In the afternoon the program will continue with "hidden Gaiole" guided tour on foot, meeting in Gaiole in Chianti, "The Mini-Eroica", non-competitive event reserved for young, starting a bike from Gaiole, gymkhana and Nutella party at arrival and a guided tour of Siena, to discover the most important monuments, including the Palazzo Pubblico, the Duomo, the Oratory and the Museum of a country. The meeting point is at 15 at the Church of San Domenico.

Sunday, October 2 The day will begin with the heroic path of some of the most beautiful roads of the Chianti region, Valdarbia and Val d'Orcia, with stretches of roads that still exist that allow you to relive the atmosphere of cycling 's era. The same morning, there is also a guided tour of Asciano, Crete Senesi center, with free tasting of typical local products. The meeting is at 11 am in front of the Basilica of St. Agatha.In the first weekend events are also planned in the picturesque setting of the auditorium of the former Ricasoli winery in Gaiole in Chianti: Thursday, September 29, at 8pm, there will be storytelling play "Tales pedal", edited by Matthew Marsan, while Friday, September 30, again at 8pm, will be the turn of the narrative play "The other Coppi" by Emanuele Arrigazzi. Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1, always in the same auditorium, you can visit the photo exhibition "Shots of Champions".

Siena Plein Air

Terre di Siena Plein Air si aprirà giovedì 29 settembre con una doppia escursione guidata nel Chianti, sui sentieri de L’Eroica: la mattina in bicicletta e il pomeriggio a piedi.

La mattina di venerdì 30 settembre l’appuntamento sarà ripetuto sulle due ruote nell’area di Montalcino e delle Crete Senesi. Sabato 1 ottobre è in programma L’Eroica “…per quelli della prima volta”, escursione guidata in bicicletta, con partenza e ritorno a Gaiole in Chianti, aperta a tutti ma soprattutto a quelli che l’indomani parteciperanno all’evento dell’Eroica per la prima volta. Nel pomeriggio il programma continuerà con “Gaiole nascosta”, escursione guidata a piedi, con ritrovo a Gaiole in Chianti; “La Mini-Eroica”, manifestazione non agonistica riservata a giovanissimi, con partenza in bici da Gaiole, gimcana e Nutella party all’arrivo e una visita guidata di Siena, per scoprire i monumenti più importanti, tra cui il Palazzo Pubblico, il Duomo, l’Oratorio e il Museo di una contrada. Il ritrovo è alle ore 15 presso la Chiesa di San Domenico.

Domenica 2 ottobre la giornata si aprirà con L'Eroica, percorso su alcune delle più belle strade del Chianti senese, della Valdarbia e della Val d’Orcia, con tratti su strade bianche ancora esistenti che consentono di rivivere l'atmosfera del ciclismo d'epoca. La stessa mattina è prevista anche una visita guidata ad Asciano, centro delle Crete senesi, con degustazione gratuita di prodotti tipici locali. Il ritrovo è alle ore 11 davanti alla Basilica di Sant’Agata.

Nel primo weekend sono previsti anche altri eventi nella suggestiva cornice dell’auditorium delle ex cantine Ricasoli, a Gaiole in Chianti: giovedì 29 settembre, alle ore 20, ci sarà la narrazione teatrale “Racconti a Pedali”, a cura di Matteo Marsan, mentre venerdì 30 settembre, sempre alle ore 20, sarà la volta della narrazione teatrale “L’altro Coppi” di Emanuele Arrigazzi. Venerdì 30 settembre e sabato 1 ottobre, inoltre, nello stesso auditorium sarà possibile visitare la mostra fotografica “Scatti di Campioni”.
